One of the gifts I got at my baby shower is a Ju-Ju-Be diaper bag/backpack. It is hands down one of my top three gifts I received. It is right up there with my B.O.B. jogging stroller. I don’t think I’ve gone a single day without using my diaper backpack. My aunt gave it to me filled with all the necessities. It has been fantastic!

I’ll start by saying you NEED to get a diaper bag that can convert to a backpack! Why tie one hand behind your back when being a mom is hard enough? Having a backpack diaper bag lets you use both hands and doesn’t strain one of your shoulders. I hardly even notice my Ju-Ju-Be backpack, it is light and so comfortable! The shoulder straps are padded and you can adjust them so it fits perfectly in the middle of your back plus it looks cute! I only have one baby right now, so it’s the perfect size. Some of you mamas with more babies may need a larger one.

My backpack has all the zippers and compartments in just the right spots. The little top one is perfect for my keys and phone. I can zip them in and have easy access to them.

The big pocket in the front is where I like to keep my wallet, hand sanitizer, pads, tampons, Chapstick and lipstick. This compartment is also really easy to get to and keeps things safely zipped in.

The Ju-Ju-be diaper bag has really nice side pockets! They are perfect for bottles but since I don’t need those, I have them filled with snacks, headphones (I have to have the ones that wrap around your ears), pain reliever and toys. You never know when your little one will need a distraction, when a headache will try to ruin your day or when you will go for a run and need your tunes. And always always have snacks for both you and baby. Hangry is real for my whole family 😬

Then in the main part of the backpack I have diapers (I try to always have at least four), nursing cover, blanket, socks (I found like three pairs in my bag 😂), burp cloth, puffs, snack container, more toys, diaper rash cream, wipes (I LOVE the Huggies wipes bag. I just refill it and it keeps my wipes nice and wet), a extra outfit and one of those little packs with nail clippers, a comb, a thermometer and things like that in it. I can fit a lot in there! In the summer time I also keep baby sunscreen and a sun hat handy. If you have a baby that likes binkies, it would be a good idea to have some extras in there too.

One of the things in my diaper bag when I first received it, was a big carabiner. That carabiner has been fantastic! I definitely recommend one for all moms!

The last wonderful thing about my Ju-Ju-Be backpack is the changing pad that came with it in the back pocket. The pad is cute, matches the bag, is super comfy for your baby and is soooo convenient! It’s made of the same wonderful stain resistant material as the backpack so you can just wipe it clean and use it anywhere!

I hope this helped some new mamas prepare for their baby or maybe I sparked an idea for a well seasoned mom to add to her bag! A diaper bag and all the stuff you need in it also makes a fantastic gift! I know I really appreciated it! Let me know in the comments if I missed anything! My little guy just turned one so his necessities might be changing soon!
